Our proximity to Mérida (30 minutes drive time) on a very safe highway is one of Margarita’S main asset, you know… location, location and location.

We just loved Mauricio’s BUNGALOWS. Great, peaceful and clean place. The kitchen is very well equipped (as the place used to have a restaurant). Huge fridge where you can store your supplies. The lot with palm trees, lounge chairs, Veranda, palapa, hammocks is well maintained and as relaxed as it can be. Louis who took care of the place while Mauricio was out was very friendly, helpful and was there when needed while giving us all the privacy we need. We stayed far longer than we planned to and would always come back. Very recommended if u look for some days all for yourself and away from it all.

Margaritas Bungalows is exactly what we expected, hoped for and more. The place has a unique and genuine vintage feel. We spent our whole time barefeet on this beautiful sandy coconut grove. The bungalows are literally on the beach and the sights and sounds of the ocean were relaxing and inspiring. All the amenities were there. And Luis was most attentive and happy to assist with any needs. Mauricio has definitely managed to create a paradise for those wanting to getaway, relax and enjoy nature. A short
t drive into the town of Progresso provided us with all the supplies that we needed. We hope to return to Margaritas and strongly recommend it for those who want to get away from it all.
